Oberhaizinger GmbH was founded in 1905 as a small, family company. It developed into a medium-sized, innovative and modern showpiece company with state-of-the-art production equipment and CAD-supported planning and production. Thanks to its more than one hundred years of experience, Oberhaizinger GmbH, in its fourth generation, guarantees optimum workmanship and technical know-how that are reflected in our carefully manufactured, high quality products.

Carpenter shop established by Johann Oberhaizinger with one employee

1948
Hand-over to son Johann Oberhaizinger, addition of furniture, casket and casket accessories businesses. By then, 3 journey-level workers were employed in the carpenter shop.

Take-over of the carpenter shop and the 6 journey-level workers by his son Hans Oberhaizinger

New 6,500 sq. ft. carpenter shop building erected

Purchase of adjoining plot of land

Introduction of bank furnishings product line

Construction of 5,400 sq. ft. of additional adjoining carpenter shop space. Division of shop into machine and bank sections.

First major conversion to EDP

Addition of a new, 7,500 sq. ft. production hall with warehouse space in the basement

Expansion of production facility with warehouse space for panels and other materials

1996
Purchase of a CNC milling and drilling machine

1998
Introduction of car dealership furnishings product line

2000
Addition of a prefabricated component warehouse with integrated truck loading zone

 

2002
Transformation from a sole proprietorship into a limited liability company (GmbH) with sons Hans-Martin and Stefan as shareholders

Acceptance by Porsche as official supplier for CI furniture

By this time, the company had 25 employees.

2004
Hans-Martin Oberhaizinger (Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH)) (Graduate Industrial Engineer) joined the business management team.

2008
Stefan Oberhaizinger, certified interior designer, joined the company.

2009
Relaunch of the corporate design and restyling of the office and reception areas
